Still could not believe

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Seven days in england, still could not believe that I am here.

saw the changing of the guards in Windsor Castle, stood in front of the original painting "The Virgin of the Rocks" and "Sunflowers"… saw "Les Miserables" LIVE performances in Queen’s Theatre, London. Amazing! 4 thumbs up!.. Lucky me because I like Viktor Hugo and I can see the live performance of his book!

UK is very cold right now. I know it is winter, but c’mon - I came from tropical country. I love traveling and I love walking around, but if you have to use long-sleves shirt, plus pullover, plus jumper, plus long coat, plus underpants, plus hat, scarf, glove, boot -Gosh- soo complicated :( And sometimes I can’t push my manual camera’s button and sometime my digital camera also didn’t work because the temperature is too cold :( Don’t get me wrong, please, I am not complain. Just want to explain that my journey is a pain too…

Anyway, still many things I could write, and I think it is better if I stop it right now… (before I continue with the living cost. London is bloody expensive)

Now, there are two important things I am convinced, for sure: first, english men are cold (so sorry my friends, but it is true ;)) and second thing: my english is dreadful. If I want to survive next year, I have to learn and practice more than at present. Otherwise, I have to pretend that I am deaf, but it is difficult if he is gorgeous hehehe ;p

Be Thankful

Thursday, December 15th, 2005

Be thankful that you don’t already have everything you desire,
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don’t know something
For it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations
Because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge
Because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you’re tired and weary
Because it means you’ve made a difference.

It is easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setback

GRATITUDE can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles
and they can become your blessings
